The Special Education Teacher (SETSS & ENL) provides targeted, student-centered instruction that ensures students with disabilities and multilingual learners can fully access rigorous, grade-level curriculum. The educator delivers small-group and push-in instruction aligned to IEP mandates and ENL service plans, using evidence-based strategies to support academic growth, language development, and socio-emotional well-being. Core responsibilities include differentiating instruction, monitoring progress toward individualized goals, and implementing appropriate accommodations in inclusive classroom settings. The teacher collaborates closely with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school leadership to promote equitable learning outcomes while maintaining strong compliance with New York State requirements in a dynamic school environment.
